- Abdominal ultrasound to look at organs in the abdomen, including the liver, appendix, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas and kidneys
- Scrotal Ultrasound to examine the testis for any abnormalities
- Obstetric/Pregnancy Ultrasound scan to measure fetal development and identify any pregnancy abnormalities
- Pelvic ultrasound to examine structures in the pelvis, including reproductive organs
- Doppler ultrasound to see and evaluate blockages to blood flow, such as clots, and build-up of plaque inside the blood vessels.
- Thyroid ultrasound to examine the thyroid gland for abnormalities
- Breast ultrasound to visualize breast tissue, usually to check abnormal mammogram results
